Kenyan artist Willy Paul has recently found himself at the center of a music industry controversy. During a live performance at the Furaha City Concert that was held at Polo Grounds in Nairobi, the singer abruptly ordered the DJ to remove a song from the playlist, a collaboration he had done with Tanzanian artist Rayvanny.

The public snub didn't go unnoticed by Rayvanny, who took to social media to express his disappointment and confusion. The Tanzanian artist questioned the motive behind Willy Paul's decision to publicly reject their joint work. “Ati toa takataka, acha aseme ndo imtoke hio kitu. Still got luv for u broski,” Rayvanny after Willy Paul trashed their collabo ‘mmmh’ on stage.

The incident has sparked a heated debate among fans and music industry insiders. Some have criticized Willy Paul's behavior, calling it unprofessional and disrespectful. Others have defended his actions, suggesting that he may have had valid reasons for removing the song.

This public feud between two prominent East African artists has raised questions about the state of the music industry in the region. As artists continue to collaborate across borders, it's essential to maintain professionalism and respect, even in the face of disagreements.
