“I am prepared to face her smear campaign with the authorities,” claimed Stevo Simple Boy in an online rant as he addressed the parenting issue between him and his ex-wife, Grace.
In a dramatic twist to the ongoing saga between Kenyan musician Stevo Simple Boy and his ex-wife Grace, the artist has announced plans to take legal action over claims that he fathered a child with her. In an exclusive interview with TUKO News, Stevo declared that he has given Grace 48 hours from February 8th to provide evidence of paternity or face possible defamation charges.
The controversy erupted after Grace accused the musician of neglecting the child they allegedly sired together. However, Stevo vehemently denied these claims, asserting that he has always viewed his support for Grace and the child as an act of goodwill, not obligation. He clarified that he had never been intimately involved with her, citing a lack of attraction as a significant reason for the absence of a physical relationship during their nearly four-year marriage.
Reflecting on their tumultuous union, Stevo recounted how he committed to Grace and their marriage despite numerous challenges, especially following the death of his father. “We were married for nearly four years. When I took her to introduce her to my family, things were still not okay between us,” he expressed.
Stevo revealed that the child's biological father is a married man who had urged Grace to cease contact with him. This complicates the matter further. With hopes of starting a new life together, Stevo took it upon himself to “step up” and marry Grace. However, the musician now finds himself entangled in a public dispute over paternity, leading him to question why Grace chose to air their issues online instead of addressing them privately.
As tensions mount, Stevo is ready to take the necessary steps, including initiating a DNA test to clarify the situation, while also hinting at potential legal action. “I am prepared to face her smear campaign with the authorities,” he claimed, indicating that this matter has escalated beyond a personal dispute and into a legal battleground.
