A Kenyan-Norwegian artist, Stella Mwangi continues to make waves internationally, blending hip-hop with powerful storytelling. Her music, including tracks like Queen, Murda Dem, and New Ting, was featured in Netflix's Selling Tampa, a series highlighting ambitious Black women dominating Tampa’s real estate market.
Stella’s artistry extends beyond Selling Tampa. Her track Runnin’ was featured in Queen Latifah’s series The Equalizer, a moment Stella called a “dream come true.” Her music has also graced Hollywood productions like American Pie Presents: The Naked Mile, CSI: NY, and Scrubs.
In addition to her musical achievements, Stella actively supports Rafiki Mwema, a nonprofit aiding abused children in Kenya. She also performed at the Cannes Lions International Festival, reflecting her global influence.
From her Norwegian Melodi Grand Prix contest entry 10 Toes to her consistent presence in film and TV soundtracks, Stella Mwangi proves she is an artist who transcends borders, using music to tell her unique story.
