On March 29, 2025, the YouTube Theater at Hollywood Park in Inglewood, California, transformed into a vibrant hub of pink hues, sparkling sequins, and undeniable talent as Billboard hosted its annual Women in Music event. This red carpet affair was more than a celebration; it was a powerful testament to the extraordinary contributions of women in the music industry, from chart-topping artists to the influential executives who shape the industry's landscape.
Doechii: Woman of the Year:
The night's most prestigious honor, the Woman of the Year Award, was bestowed upon the dynamic rapper Doechii. Known for her innovative beats, compelling lyrical prowess, and unapologetic authenticity, Doechii's rapid ascent in the music world was met with thunderous applause, underscoring her role as a beacon of female empowerment.
