“Beg For It is an Afro-R&B track that speaks to the importance of communication in a relationship” Njerae says.
"Beg for it," tells the story of a lover-girl who is knee-deep in love. She expresses that she not only wants this man, but she yearns for his love and is virtually willing to beg for it. Njerae explores the initial confusion that comes with loving someone and the lengths we go to show it. “I have always been a fan of open communication in relationships but sometimes I also realise that it can be hard to say what you want to say. ‘beg for it’ was my attempt at letting him know that I not only want but need his love,” she shared.
On the back of a blistering December period where Njerae has been booked and busy, as well as winning awards she was also named for her influence on youth through music by popular media outlet Kenyans.co.ke. She would also end up notching the in a fan-voted category for ‘Unintentional’ at the inaugural digital 254 Radio Awards. Njerae is ecstatic to share her new single to her esteemed fans. In the performance realm, Njerae co-headlined Blankets & Wine Festivals, along with a string of performances over the festive period including The Beneath The Baobab Festival in Kilifi over New Years to end her year in 2024.
