Grimes has come forward to express her concerns after her ex-partner Elon Musk brought their son, four-year-old X Æ A-Xii, to the White House for a meeting. The scene took place when President Donald Trump signed an executive order aimed at enhancing the powers of the newly established Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) which is led by Musk.
The Oval Office was full of reporters as Musk and Trump addressed them on their ambitious plans for the DOGE initiative. However, it wasn't long before young X A-Xii, affectionately known as Lil X, captured the attention of the media, and now the nation. His playful presence and innocent antics were enough to divert focus from the high-level discussions.
In an unexpected twist, Grimes revealed that she was unaware of her son's involvement in this high-profile engagement until alerted by a social media user. Her reaction came via X (formerly known as Twitter), where she candidly stated, “He should not be in public like this. I did not see this, thank u for alerting me. But I’m glad he was polite. Sigh.”
The remark brings out the growing concern among parents in the public eye about the implications of exposing young children to the media glare. Grimes, who shares three children with Musk, added a layer of complexity to the spectacle. She stressed out her perspective on privacy and the well-being of their children amid such extraordinary circumstances.
