The vibrant atmosphere of a football match quickly turned into a terrifying ordeal for internet sensation Bradley Marongo, widely known as "Gen Z Goliath." The influencer-turned-actor was recently attacked by a group of goons while leaving a match, an incident that quickly fueled online speculation. His manager, Frank, has now bravely come forward to recount the harrowing details, clarifying the events and expressing gratitude for the timely intervention of good Samaritans.
Earlier rumors on social media suggested that Marongo was targeted by individuals demanding money. However, Frank's detailed account paints a clearer, more disturbing picture of what transpired.

"Yesterday, after watching the match between FIFA Best and FC Bundes together with Bradley, we experienced a very unfortunate incident. FIFA Best won the match 1-0," Frank began, setting the scene. "After the final whistle, Bradley headed to the car. On the way, a group of goons started following him and attempted to steal his Samsung Fold. Luckily, Bradley, being physically strong, managed to secure his phone and fight them off."
The situation escalated rapidly. Frank revealed that Kelvin Etemesi, who had just scored the winning goal in the match, courageously intervened, jumping in to assist Bradley and helping him get into the car. Amidst the chaotic scuffle, Bradley was pickpocketed, though fortunately, he had nothing valuable in his pockets at the time. The assailants grew more aggressive, resorting to kicking the car and even denting its rear.
Frank himself found himself in a perilous situation. "I was trying to get into the car as well, but they didn’t immediately notice I was with Bradley. I was left outside until our driver saw me through the window while I was calling out for him to open the door, and thankfully, he did," he recounted. In a swift move, Frank managed to throw the phone he was holding into the driver's seat as he finally entered the car. Unfortunately, he was carrying KSh 100,000 in his pocket—a crucial deposit intended for a client reel scheduled for shooting next week in Kilimani—which the attackers managed to seize along with his identification card.
In the midst of the escalating chaos, help arrived from an unexpected quarter. "In the middle of the chaos, we were rescued by five of my loyal supporters who came through for us," Frank shared with immense gratitude. These individuals, arriving on three motorbikes, played a vital role in ensuring that Bradley and Frank could safely exit the scene, thwarting what could have been an even more dire situation.
