Ndiangui Kinyagia is said to be the one who first shared this timetable (X Posts)

The digital silence of Ndiangui Kinyagia, a 35-year-old IT expert and blogger known on X as Daguin Dd, has sent a chill down the spines of many Kenyans. It has now been a full 11 days since Ndiangui was last seen, vanishing on June 21, 2025, under circumstances that his family and a growing number of concerned citizens find deeply disturbing and suspicious.
Reports indicate that armed officers, believed to be from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI), stormed his Kinoo residence on that fateful day. They allegedly broke in and confiscated his belongings, including laptops, leaving behind a trail of unanswered questions and profound anxiety.
Ndiangui, a computer science graduate from Kabarak University and the owner of his own IT firm, was a vocal presence online. In the days leading up to the highly anticipated June 25 Gen Z protests, he was particularly active. These protests held immense symbolic weight, intended to mark one year since the tragic deaths of young protesters during the 2024 anti-Finance Bill demonstrations. It was a somber anniversary, a call for remembrance and renewed activism against perceived government overreach and impunity.

His family strongly believes that a viral post he published on June 19 could be the direct catalyst for his disappearance. The post, which garnered over a million views, was no ordinary social media update. It meticulously laid out an itinerary for the planned June 25 protests, detailing a timeline that began at 8 am with prayers, a moment of silence for the fallen, and speeches from bereaved parents. The itinerary then escalated to a march towards State House, culminating in profoundly symbolic acts: the lowering of the UDA presidential standard, the raising of the Kenyan flag, the declaration of a "new republic," and the proposed swearing-in of a "transition council."
This bold and highly visible call to action, with its revolutionary overtones, has left Ndiangui's friends and family convinced that he placed himself squarely in the government's crosshairs.
The chilling absence of Ndiangui Kinyagia has ignited a powerful wave of public outcry. Under the trending hashtag #FreeNdianguiKinyagia, his family, friends, and a growing chorus of Kenyans online are demanding immediate answers. The calls are clear and urgent: the government must either release him or produce him before a court of law.

This situation echoes a dark chapter in Kenya's history where enforced disappearances and arbitrary detentions have been used to silence dissent. The lack of transparency surrounding Ndiangui's whereabouts, coupled with the DCI's reported actions at his residence, fuels fears of extrajudicial actions and a blatant disregard for due process.
