"We are now expanding our presence with our very first satellite office in Seattle," Gachagua declared, highlighting the new office as a crucial step towards strengthening outreach and enhancing engagement with the vast Kenyan diaspora in the United States, particularly those residing in Seattle and its environs. He emphasized that this new base would "foster greater engagement, and bring our initiatives closer to the people of Seattle and the surrounding areas," signaling a concerted effort to reconnect with supporters abroad.
This launch comes just days into Gachagua's extensive two-month tour across the United States, his first major international trip since his removal from office in October 2024. His meticulously planned itinerary includes stops in key American cities such as Dallas, California, Boston, and Baltimore, in addition to Seattle. In each location, the former Deputy President is set to hold town hall meetings and attend various community events, utilizing these platforms to promote his political agenda and consolidate support among Kenyans living far from home.

Gachagua has already commenced his engagements, holding his first official meeting with the Kenyan diaspora on July 12 in Seattle. He described the gathering as both candid and productive, commending the attendees for their willingness to openly discuss pressing national issues. Looking ahead, he expressed anticipation for continued conversations throughout his U.S. visit, underscoring the importance of diaspora engagement in his ongoing political endeavors. This transcontinental outreach positions Gachagua's DCP party for broader influence and sustained political relevance.
