“I told him, ‘I do videos. I don’t know if you know me. I’m from Kisumu but I’ll be coming to Nairobi. If you guys can give me a chance, we can do one or two videos.’ I really used to look up to that crew,” Flaqo recalled.
To his surprise, Seth didn’t just respond — he invited Flaqo to join the team for a shoot. That moment, Flaqo admits, left him starstruck.
But the true turning point came when Seth introduced him to his first major commercial deal with Airtel Kenya. At the time, Flaqo was struggling to pay KSh 3,000 in rent. “Seth connected me with Airtel. They paid me Sh120,000. I almost lost my mind,” Flaqo shared, still astonished by the leap from struggling to pay rent to signing a six-figure contract.
Seth also took the time to mentor Flaqo on pricing and value in the content creation industry. By sharing his own rate card and advising him to quote Sh120,000 for the Airtel project, Seth ensured Flaqo entered the professional space with confidence.
“That was my breakthrough moment,” Flaqo said. “God bless Seth for giving me that chance.”
