A$AP Rocky Trial Takes Dramatic Turn as Witnesses Offer Surprising Testimonies

The trial of rapper A$AP Rocky has taken a dramatic turn as two key witnesses, A$AP Twelvyy and Rocky's tour manager Lou Levin, shared intense testimonies that could sway the future of the hip-hop star. At the center of the trial is a 2021 incident in Hollywood, where Rocky is accused of firing a gun at former mob member A$AP Relli. Charged with two felony counts of assault with a firearm, Rocky has maintained his innocence with this he faces a shocking 24 years in prison.
The proceedings have seen inconsistent testimonies from Relli which resulted in skepticism from both the jury and the public. Twelvyy’s appearance on the stand transformed the atmosphere of the trial as he offered a narrative that contradicted Relli’s claims, suggesting that Rocky wielded a “starter pistol”—essentially a replica or prop—during the altercation. “Relli told him to shoot that fake-ass gun,” Twelvyy declared, insisting that Rocky was merely reacting to an aggressive situation.
Twists and turns continued when the prosecutor caught Twelvyy off guard by asking what "AWGE" stands for. Amid a hushed courtroom, Rocky could be heard imploring Twelvyy not to divulge the secretive meaning, which is kept under wraps as part of the brand’s mystique. The moment offered a glimpse into the tight-knit culture surrounding A$AP Mob which displays the "brotherhood" that exists among its members.
Further messing up Relli's case, Twelvyy disputed his account of Rocky being the initial aggressor. He painted a picture where Relli escalated the confrontation by physically picking Rocky up, leading to the unintentional discharge of the gun, which was meant to protect A$AP Illz who was another bystander during the incident.
Lou Levin testified about the origins of the firearm revealing it was a prop from a previous video shoot. “Security and I thought it would be a good idea,” he stated. he relayed on how the gun was meant for entertainment and not malicious intent. Levin also highlighted that the weapon had since been returned to the music video's co-director. This makes it impossible for the defense to present it as evidence in court.
