Harambee Stars have been drawn into a challenging Group A alongside Morocco, DR Congo, Zambia, and Angola at the CAF African Nations Championship (CHAN) 2024. The draw, conducted yesterday at the KICC in Nairobi, has generated a mix of excitement and anticipation within the Kenyan football fraternity.
Despite the formidable opponents, the team has expressed confidence in their ability to compete at the highest level. A team official stated, "This is a good challenge for the team and the country to test their level against the best in the African continent."
The CHAN tournament, exclusively featuring players from domestic leagues, provides a unique platform for African footballers to showcase their talent on the continental stage. "CHAN is the biggest platform the African continent has," the official emphasized, highlighting its significance for both players and fans. "This tournament has a great impact on all African sports lovers and players."  
For aspiring footballers, the CHAN offers a valuable opportunity to gain international exposure and attract the attention of scouts from top clubs worldwide. "CHAN provides an opportunity for players to showcase their talent and stand a better chance of landing a better deal with bigger football clubs across the globe," the official noted.
