Bahati and Diana Marua (Ghetto Radio X Post)

Kenya's celebrity world has once again been set abuzz by artist Bahati's unconventional online behaviour. Known for his peculiar trend of occasionally donning his wife Diana Marua's clothing, Bahati's latest sartorial choice has not only gone viral but also triggered a direct public call-out from his former mentee, Weezdom, expressing profound disappointment.
In his most recent video that quickly circulated across social media platforms, Bahati made a striking appearance in an eye-catching orange crop top, paired with short shorts that sat just above his backside. To complete this distinctive ensemble, he boldly slipped into Diana’s high-heeled sandals. Far from being a random act or a mere publicity stunt, this playful cross-dressing was, in fact, a deliberate retaliation.

Bahati’s video humorously depicted his 'perplexed' reaction to Diana's shock, cleverly revealing that she had previously worn his oversized T-shirt and shorts, framing his outfit as a tit-for-tat playful jab. This particular antic, however, is not new to Bahati, who has engaged in similar playful gender-bending fashion statements on several occasions before.
While the video sparked a wave of varied reactions from the public, it was the response from Weezdom, a former mentee of Bahati's, that truly resonated. Taking to his Instagram Stories, Weezdom publicly called out his former mentor, expressing a deeply felt concern. "Sometimes I look at the things my mentor, who taught me the word of God, does online and feel for him," Weezdom stated, highlighting the powerful influence Bahati once held, particularly among parents and children in his gospel music days. His message was clear and direct: "Mwambieni arudie God na akuje aimbie God, that was the purpose of his breakthrough."
