From these submissions, 100 finalists will participate in a four-week virtual program. In July 2025, ten filmmakers will be selected for a 10-day hands-on training program at Tyler Perry Studios in Atlanta. This state-of-the-art facility will provide intensive training in cinematography, sound design, set design, and directing actors, along with personalized mentorship.
Five grand prize winners will receive $30,000 each to produce their short films, set in Atlanta, showcasing the city's unique character. This financial support is an investment in their future, enabling them to bring their stories to life.
