Pete Davidson Fires Back at Criticism of His Celebrity Relationships

In the glitzy world of Hollywood romances, few relationships have attracted as much attention as those of the former "Saturday Night Live," Pete Davidson. The star is now addressing the intense scrutiny that has followed his love life, especially his past romances with female celebrities. Pete Davidson has since spoken out about feeling "harassed" due to his dating history, arguing that this treatment comes from societal perceptions of his looks. "Everyone is dating everyone and it’s Hollywood," he remarked during an interview with Page Six. Yet, he feels that his physical appearance has unjustly colored the media’s portrayal of his life. "Because I’m ugly, they wrote about me… it made my life a living hell," Davidson candidly shared.
Despite his fast rise to fame as one of the youngest cast members on "SNL," Davidson believes that his personal relationships have overshadowed his professional achievements. He sharply stated, "All that got pushed to the side because of who I was dating." Pete has a string of high-profile romances under his belt including engagements and breakups which can be summarized as a Hollywood script.
Among his most publicized relationships was his twisted engagement to pop icon Ariana Grande in 2018 that ended after just five months. This inspired Grande's Grammy-nominated album, "thank u, next." Following this, Davidson dated actress Kate Beckinsale and has also been linked to the likes of Margaret Qualley and model Kaia Gerber.
In 2021, Davidson captured headlines once more when he began dating Kim Kardashian after her guest stint on "SNL." The initial friendship between them eventually blossomed into a romance that lasted nine months before their split in August 2022. Kardashian later commented on their relationship, stating on Davidson's character and calling him, "the best heart." She also labelled him a "sweet, thoughtful person."
After all these dramas Pete Davidson has maintained an aura of being one of Hollywood's most sought-after bachelors. Rumors of his seeing model Emily Ratajkowski emerged in late 2022 when they were spotted together at a New York Knicks game. This companionship added to his star-studded dating history.
Recently, Pete Davidson has made headlines for seemingly removing not only a tattoo dedicated to Kim Kardashian but also all the tattoos he has on his body. He plainly stated that he wanted to remove the tattoos for the sake of his career, “I honestly never thought that I would get the opportunity to act, and I love it a lot.”
